Why Rwanda? The genocide of 1994 has been compared to three 9/11′s every day for 100 days. It decimated Rwanda’s education system, political stability and health care. Today, there is a window of opportunity to help the next generation of Rwandans through quality education.
In cooperation with the Rwandan government, Wellspring is making an impact in 48 public schools in the Gasabo District of Kigali, the Rwandan capital through the School Development Program. In addition, Wellspring established The Wellspring Academy, now considered one of the top schools in the country.
